I joined for the Fund Raising Events. My short time in Spain has evolved my original business idea. I hope to launch a new tienda in Benitachell in April 2010 called 'Casa de Arte'. This will be an ethical store that will donate a guaranteed percentage of profits to local causes including animal shelters. I also make stunning baby wear from 1950's designer Carmen Castresana from Madrid. Will post pictures of designs soon.

I moved to Cumbre del Sol in July 2009 with my partner Fred. I have two little male dogs called Dandy and Kane. I enjoy knitting, sewing, writing and listening to the birds singing in the morning.

I love all animals they have so many hidden talents, cancer detection, empathy and it saddens me because they have no voice to report their problems. I want to help man's best friend anyway I can. :-) The sonic sound of a cat's purr cures pain.

Hi Tanya, yes we certainly do have something in common with being animal softies. Would love to be able to get something up and running with animals to help them but to also have something simmilar that makes provides a good living too. Just increased my cat family to 3 on Sunday when I got a 10 week old female kitten, still got to start the face to face intros with my older two though.........ooh fun and games ahead.
