- I was supposed to have taken early retirement seven years ago but just can't stop working! I have been married to Jim for nearly 30 years and have a son, Bill, who works in Saudi Arabia. I love horse riding but my old horse Sam died at the age of 28 a few years ago, so now I borrow a horse at every opportunity. I have a cute Jack Russell, Holly, who is 9 and rules the roost.
Jim & I have had the house in Lliber for 6 years but only moved over permanently in March 2008.
I enjoy creative writing & am hoping to get involved with the Jalon Valley Writers Group & U3A. Jim bought me a keyboard for Christmas, which I have yet to learn to play - are there any music teachers out there? I am trying to learn Spanish - with difficulty - but am persevering. I have also had a go a scuba diving, not much success yet but will keep trying.

- I am a good organiser and love to redesign old properties, Jim and I have renovated four old cottages in the last 20 years and are now working on our Spanish home. I really enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I wouldn't inflict my singing voice on anyone - except the dog! I like to write and am pretty good on the PC, I can do presentations in Power Point but have not done desk top publishing as yet.
- What do you want to get out of this club? Business contacts? New friends? Help a social cause? Please Explain!
- Through WIBC I hope to make new friends and expand my business. Having been an absent member previously, I am looking forward to attending meetings and getting more involved in the Club's activities now I am a resident. I am an ex nurse, and was a social worker and community care organiser in the UK, consequently I empathise with the causes supported by WIBC.

A big Thank You to all the Committee & the many willing Helpers who achieved yet another brilliant White Ribbon Day. As ever it was so well organised and ran like clockwork. Maybe the public turnout wasn't as good as last year (thanks to the economic climate) but it didn't spoil the atmosphere and I'm sure everybody enjoyed the day and, hopefully, we raised loads of money for the Cause.

Yes the toxic overload the body has to deal with is horrendous is there any wonder that cancer now afflicts 1 in 3 people, sadly Cancer is very profitable to Big Pharma and I don't think they will be in a hurry to find a cure in the near future. Profit over health, very sad.

- Hi Carol, I'm glad everythings coming along o.k with the house.
I will be starting colour talks again in May. We'll be off to Turkey in April & I'll be seeing the girls either before or after that. I charge 1 euro per (covers petrol) person.Talk & demo is 30 mins minimum.
We went ski-ing yest Javalambra(inland Valencia)-a little bit stiff today. Love Lyn : )x
