Meeting
Suzanna brought us up to date regarding White Ribbon Day, November 25. Everything was going smoothly and a lot of behind the scenes work proving successful. She reminded us that each stand holder must give a prize for the tombola and try to get one extra from their supplier or local shops. We are still looking for BIG prizes. Stand holders must pay 10€ if they do not donate a prize. She also said that the hotel management is hoping to get some celebrities, as they did last year, and more radio and TV time. She has already done some radio interviews.
Val and Lesley repeated, yet again, the need to fill in the on-line application form and give ALL the information that they require. On bank transfers it is important that your name is included as account numbers mean nothing to them. No name, no stand even if you have paid.
As usual we will have a box at reception for gifts for the adults and children at the refuge. Please ensure that they are unwrapped. Items not used at Christmas are held back and used for 3 Kings and birthdays. These gifts are greatly appreciated by all. Please keep in mind that not all of the youngsters are small. There are boys and girls of 8, 9, 10 and early teens.
Santa will be on duty again this year. The hope was for a Mrs Santa with some elves. We will need about 3 volunteers for Santa, she can’t do all day, and as many as possible for elves. So if you can see yourself in a red or green outfit contact Suzanna.
Tammi (Lotus Interiors) is mobile and as well as being an interior designer she makes curtains, cushions etc
Trisha (Nu Skin) is looking for people interested in building a business. She also has gift vouchers starting at 20€. Christmas is coming, an ideal pamper gift.
Carol (External Health) has organic and natural products including flaxseed. She is looking for those wishing to build a business.
Linda (Buena Vista) is looking for villa rentals. Her website is viewed all over Europe including Russia.
Chris (Phoenix Cards) is looking for hostesses for coffee mornings etc. She has her Christmas stock of cards, paper and advent calendars as well as birthday cards etc

Suzanna (dance and balloons) Is hoping to wear her feathers on November 25. So perhaps she is putting on one of her popular shows!!.
Lesley (Serenity) Reminded us that she has one of her popular fairs at the Hotel Diamante Beach on October 17. There are a few stands left for those of you who have interests in Health and Beauty, spiritual awareness and meditation.
